Das Hotel hat seine besten Jahre hinter sich. Der Empfang ist freundlich, Aufzüge sind vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind sichtlich alt, Flecken auf den Holzmöbeln, Bad alt, aber funktionierend, mit Badewanne. Balkon und -Türen mit alter Mechanik, due aber tadellos funktionierte. Balkon mit 2 Stühlen und Tischchen zur Strasse. Das Schwimmbad ist groß, Zugang zum Freien, aber leider öffnet es erst um 12.00 Uhr. Saunabereich hat ebenso einen Retrocharme, aber ist großzügig gestaltet. Das Restaurant am Abend hat einen Außenbereich unter Bäumen. Leidet mussten wir eine ganz Stunde warten, bis unser Essen kam. Wir hatten Karten für die Festspiele und somit nicht ewig Zeit. Das frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und bietet auch für Laktoseintolerante Joghurt. Parkgebühr beträgt 5 €.

Ich muss sagen, als ich das Hotel betrat, dachte ich erst ich Bingen ein wenig in der Zeit rückwärts gelaufen. Die Einrichtung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Im Zimmer angekommen, war ich überrascht von der Größe des Raumes, aber auch etwas enttäuscht, wieder solch wirklich altmodische Einrichtung zu sehen, besonders das Badezimmer ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen Aber: Auf der anderen Seite ist diese Größe der gesamten Räumlichkeiten einfach phänomenal. Die Zimmer sind groß, die Flure sind groß und wenn man abends ins Restaurant zum Essen kommt, meint man, man ist in einer anderen Welt. Das hat wirklich Stil und klasse und das Essen ist richtig, wirklich richtig gut. Aber, der Knaller ist der Spabereich Sowas schönes sauberes sieht man selten, man meint es ist alles gestern frisch gestrichen worden. Auch hier ist die Sauberkeit auffallend

Preis Leistung kann Mann nicht meckern,okay Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen aber Pool, Gastro sowie das Personal ist sehr nett und machen einen guten Job, Frühstück lecker, Abendessen lecker.Bei diesen Preisen kann Mann nicht 5 Sterne erwarten,ich werde hier wieder herkommen weil es über die Feiertage dort sehr schön war.Wer zu verwöhnt ist muß dann halt in einen 5Sterne Bunker und dort das 3-4 fache bezahlen

Nicht zu empfehlen. Die Zimmer und Einrichtung aus den 60ern? Oberflächlich zwar sauber, aber man darf nicht genauer hinschauen. Zum Glück waren wir nur eine Nacht da. Das Bad und der Balkon gehen gar nicht, Fugen und Kanten verkeimt und eklig. Das Frühstück auf den ersten Blick sehr ansprechend, aber die Wurstplatte und die Wurst darauf hat schon gerochen und war schmierig, der darauf dekorierte Eisbergsalat war braun und hing an der Wurst fest, vermutlich schon mehrere Tage im Einsatz.Auch das Abendessen ist nicht zu empfehlen, man bekommt etwas hingestellt, was man nicht bestellt hat, wenn etwas aus ist muss man das sagen, dann kann der Gast selber entscheiden ob er etwas anderes möchte, aber nicht einfach irgendwas ähnliches anbringen, das geht gar nicht. Wir waren nur auf der Durchreise und hatten für dasselbe Geld vorher ein wirklich tolles Hotel. Aber das hier war einfach gruselig.
